Ok. So I totally copied this idea from someone who is a lot more innovative than I - but LOOK how cute they turned out. The boxes were just too cute to pass up..... perfection. Check out Design Mom if you like that kind of thing. There are so many adorable ideas on there. It can make your head swim.
So, I snuck these into the kids lunchboxes this morning... and I waited all day to find out if they were surprised. I picked Josh up and in the midst of our conversation I said, "Did you get your surprise in your lunchbox?" He said, "Yeah. Thanks. I ate it all." I said, "Did you have anyone read the note on the box to you?" He said, "No. I ate the pie and threw it away."
Of course he did. I guess I'll show him the picture some day.
Happy Valentine's Day.

Those are adorable! And, yes, save the pictures for proof. We need to be able to remind our children that we were good moms. Well, you do. I on the other hand am not so good. Enzo ended up going to the store to replace the kids valentines I ate. As punishment for my lack of self-control he didn't buy me any candy which wasnt really a big deal because Target had 50% off the next day. I bought a huge heart shaped box and when I opened it as I was walking to the car, there were only 8 peices inside. God was punishimg me that time.
I wish you were my Mom. Seriously, these are the cutest things I have ever seen.
Megan, that heart shaped box was dishonest advertising. I'd ask for my money back.
