Taco Pockets - and a Big Fat Case of Bloggers Block

Long time no post. Why? I just can't say.

But the more I think about my "bloggers block" the worse it gets - so here is my attempt to negate it. Cancel it. Free my creative mind. Here goes...

I can't do it. I just tried to write several beginnings of ideas that are trapped in my head and they just won't materialize. This is why I never became a writer. Oh, yeah, and that tricky little fact that I don't read books. Well, except for Twilight. But that's not a book, is it?

But I really do have a story to tell. It is about Taco Pockets, how to serve a burrito to a 2-year old and have them actually ingest protein, a shoestring ratchet that will transform the world (promise...), a beautiful new bathroom, and more.

There is a lot to say - I just need to put it together. And throw in some pictures. Stay tuned, dear friend. I have a story to tell.

Sharron -

Hi! I am a friend of Grant's from HS and he forwarded this on to me so I could peer in on a big, crazy, fun family (I am an only child and have an only child) and I just wanted to tell you that I am glad you are back! You are a great writer (from one English major to another) and have such interesting insights! You are on my list of blogs that I regularly check in on and I look forward to reading more!

As a side note, there is a blog out there that you might find interesting and even inspiring. I suspect that you guys may differ in opinions on a a few topics but nonetheless I think you will find her to be intelligent, witty, crass, and if nothing else, fascinating. www.dooce.com

She also participates in something called momversations - it's community of bloggers who video themselves discussing controversial mom topics like vaccines, divorce, discipline, etc. Might be your cup of tea!

Anyway, thank you for sharing your little corner of the world!
Cheers,

Hi Anne.
Grant said you might leave a message and I am thrilled that you did.

I took a peek in on Dooce and it looks fab. You know that I love photography (check!) and I am currently in the middle of a bathroom remodel (check!) and am fascinated by the perspective of other women/mothers/writers (check, check, check!) Thanks for the referral. I will read more when I don't have a zillion things to do.

Grant has mentioned your name over the years and has been tickled to get back in touch with you over Facebook. I took a small foray into Facebook myself but found it to be too stressful and deleted my account. I think I might, perhaps, be the only person in the world that was stressed out by Facebook. But seriously, worlds were colliding over my Facebook page and I couldn't be part of that scene. Blogging has taken it's place since.

Thanks for leaving a message. Please write more if you feel led.

Warmly, Sharon
